When is a graduate not a graduate?

Technically, when you arrive at Moog you won't be a graduate. Sure, you'll have a lot to learn - a foundation of skill and expertise to build on - but you won't be a typical newcomer. You'll find yourself working with our engineers, being involved in the same projects as our engineers, and creating the latest state-of-the-art technology as our engineers. In short, you'll be a Moog engineer. You'll be one of us.

We'll bring you up to speed on the design front and assign you to a project team. Here you'll make your own decision as to where you want to take your career. And whichever route you pick - and whatever training you need to help you along the way - we'll be with you every step. We'll even sponsor you towards related further qualifications.

We'll be on hand to offer you help and guidance when making all your big career decisions. For example, as well as being surrounded by your fellow engineers, you'll receive all the advice and support you'll need from a full-time mentor who knows us, and the industry, like the back their hand. What's more, they'll know how to get the best out of you so you get the best out of your career.

Application

Potential is the key thing we look for in our graduates. We want to see that spark, that natural inquisitive attitude, that hunger to overcome challenges and deliver future developments to today's markets. However, it's not all we look for. Naturally, to be a great engineer, you generally need a grounding in engineering. To be more specific, we'd ideally want you to have a degree in Mechancial, Aeronautical or Electrical engineering. This shows us that you have the ability and the commitment as well as the potential to make the leap from the classroom to the real world.

With that, you'll be well on your way to becoming a professional engineer. What's more, you could find yourself going further, faster, if you can bring any other skills to the table. These other skills could be anything from further academic achievements, versatile skills, being a great team player or having a knack for solving complex problems. Whatever they are, if they can be used to help you – and us - progress, then the more the merrier.
