Aircraft Controls Group

The largest of Moog’s five segments is Aircraft. Three major markets drive this segment’s revenues: military aircraft, commercial aircraft, and aftermarket support. We differentiate ourselves in these markets by offering a complete range of technologies, an extensive heritage in systems integration, and unparalleled customer service. 

Space and Defense Group

Space and Defense is Moog’s segment with the longest heritage. It began in 1951 with an order worth $800. The markets in the Space and Defense segment are satellites and human-rated space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, missile defense, armored vehicles, naval systems, and homeland defense. 

Industrial Systems Group

Our Industrial business focuses on the plastics, turbine, simulation, test, heavy industry, and metal forming markets. Additional markets include down hole drilling, motorsports, textiles, and paper and lumber mills. We provide electric and hydraulic standard and customized solutions for applications that require precise control of position, velocity, force, and acceleration. 

Components Group

The Components Group was formed after the acquisition of the Litton Poly-Scientific division of Northrop Grumman at the beginning of our fiscal ’04. The three major products are slip rings, motors, and fiber optic products. 

Medical Devices Group

After three years of market analysis and planning, the Medical Devices segment of Moog was established in fiscal year 2006 with the acquisition of Curlin Medical.
