Berkeley Process Control, Inc., based in Richmond, California has been acquired by Moog, Inc. in October, 2008. Berkeley is a leading innovator and provider of flexible automation solutions.
FCS Control Systems
FCS Controls Systems B.V., based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, has been acquired 100% by Moog Inc. in August, 2005. FCS is a designer and manufacturer of high fidelity electro-mechanical and electro-hydraulic flight and vehicle simulation equipment and structural test systems that are supplied to the aerospace and automotive markets.
ProControl AG
Moog Inc. acquired ProControl AG, the Switzerland based expert on Motion Control Solutions for the plastics industry in March 2005. They offer proven solutions for supporting companies in the transition to electric technology and development of new generation machines.
Tokyo Precision Instruments Co. Ltd. (TSS) - Servovalves, Hydraulic Systems, and Pneumatic Components
Moog Inc. acquired eighty-one percent of the stock of Tokyo Precision Instruments Co. Ltd. (TSS) from MELCO (Mitsubishi Electric Corporation) and other shareholders in April 2002. Located near Nagoya, Japan, TSS is a manufacturer of high-performance servovalves, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic components.
Bosch RKP Pumps
Moog Inc. acquired the RKP pump product line from Robert Bosch GmbH in 2001. Moog maintained the Bosch manufacturing facility in Nuremberg and integrated engineering and application staff at its Boblingen facility. Known today as Moog RKP Pumps, this product line is sold and serviced throughout the world.
Whitton Products for the Industrial Gas Turbine Industry
Moog acquired the stock of Whitton Technology Limited in the U.K., and the Industrial Gas Turbine assets of Whitton Technology, Inc. in the U.S. in 2000. Known as Moog Whitton, this division designs and manufacturers of lube oil and fuel pumps, fuel control systems, start packs, and multi-function turbine control systems pumps and specialty products for producers of industrial power generating equipment.
Vickers Electrics Division -Servomotors and Drives
Moog Inc. acquired the Vickers Electrics Division of Aeroquip-Vickers S.p.A., a manufacturer of high-performance electric drives located in Casella, Italy in 2000. Vickers Electric was a part of Vickers Electronics Systems (VES) when Eaton acquired Aeroquip-Vickers, Inc. in April 1999. Today, it is part of the Moog Electric Drives Division and its products are sold and serviced throughout the world.
Schenck Pegasus Servovalves
Moog acquired the Industrial Servovalve business of the Schenck Pegasus Corporation in Troy, Michigan in 2000. This product line was integrated into Moog’s Industrial Division to provide repairs and replacements for customers.
Atchley Jet Pipe Servovalves
Moog completed integration of the Atchley Controls® Jet-Pipe Servovalve product line in 1999 as a result of the company’s acquisition earlier that year of Raytheon Aircraft Montek Co., Salt Lake City, Utah. This product line now known as Moog Jet Pipe Servovalves is sold and serviced throughout the world.
Microset SRL Electronic Controls
Moog Inc. acquired a majority interest in Microset Srl, an Italian designer and manufacturer of electronic controls for industrial machinery in 1998. Known today as Moog – Microset, this location designs and manufacturers motion control electronics including microprocessor-based controllers.
Hydrolux Integrated Hydraulic Manifold Systems
Moog Inc. acquired majority interest in Hydrolux, SARL, a Luxembourg designer and manufacturer of hydraulic power control systems for industrial machinery in 1998. Known today as Moog Integrated Hydraulic Manifold Systems, this product line is sold and serviced throughout the world.
Ultra Hydraulics Limited
Moog Inc. acquired the servovalve product line of Ultra Hydraulics Limited in March 1995. This history of this product line traces back to a license granted from Moog in the late 1950's to the Dowty Group.
